TRANSDUCERS

A transducer is a device that converts one form of energy to another. Energy types include electrical, mechanical, electromagnetic, chemical, acoustical or thermal energy. While the term transducer commonly implies the use of a sensor and/or detector, any device which converts energy can be considered a transducer.

One physical element that everybody always forgets or at least never pays the attention is the human ear.
